Germany’s Anna-Maria Wagner has matured into being a world-class performer this year with two Grand Prix victories form as many outings in 2019. Germany’s Anna Maria Wagner edged out Loriana Kuka of Kosovo to win the U78kg gold medal and recorded her first IJF World Judo Tour win. Düsseldorf Grand Slam silver medallist Wagner secured her first IJF gold after taking silver at her home Grand Slam last month. Madeleine Malonga celebrates gold with Bercy

French European champion Madeleine Malonga won her home Grand Slam for the first time as she defeated Tashkent Grand Prix bronze medallist Luise Malzahn (GER) after two minutes. Malonga opened the scoring with a waza-ari from an o-soto-gari and the final was settled when her German rival was penalised for going out of the area which was her third indiscretion. Read more
