Éva Csernoviczki is European Senior Champion in 2013 and 2014. Won 11 consecutive European medals and was U23 European Champion in 2006 and 2008. The Hungarian won world bronze in 2011. Coached by her father Csaba, from Tatabánya. European U23 Champion in 2003. Seventh at the 2015 World Championships. She finished 7th at the Rio Olympic Games. She took a bronze medal at the Grand Prix in Cancun and Tashkent in 2017. She took silver at the Grand Slam in Düsseldorf and GP Tashkent in 2018.

Bilodid set to regain European title in Minsk

Young and old will battle for the European Games title U48kg in Minsk. However there are no doubts with the fans that one of the youngest, Daria Bilodid, is the biggest ace to win the title. Bilodid won the European title in 2017 and looking back at the history this class has waves with successful women. Shira Rishony wins gold at the first Grand Prix of 2019

Shira Rishony of Israel gave her country a dream start for their inaugural Tel Aviv Grand Prix as she defeated The Hague Grand Prix winner Maryna Cherniak (UKR) to win -48kg gold. The home crowd did not have long to wait to see their judoka clinch top spot on the podium as Rishony won her second Grand Prix title and first since 2013 to star in the first final on day one. Distria Krasniqi opens the prom for Kosovo

The first final of the Grand Prix in Tashkent saw the first Kosovo athlete of the day to enter the final, Distria Krasniqi, against the former Olympic bronze medallist, Csernoviczki Eva (HUN). After one minute three shidos were already awarded, two for Csernoviczki, one for Krasniqi. This is the time the pupil of Driton Kuka, decided to score a first waza-ari with a o-uchi-gari. Read more
