Lithuanian judoka Karolis Bauza was European Champion U23 in 2009 U90kg. In 2009 and 2013 he won a bronze European Championships medal. In 2003 he won bronze at the EYOF. Bauza won 13 World Cup medals among those 6 finals and Grand Slam bronze in Moscow in 2010. Bauza is multiple National champion. He took bronze at the European Open in Katowice in 2017. Bauza captured a bronze medal at the European Open in Prague in 2018. He captured silver at the European Open in Tallinn in 2019.

Lithuanian judoka protest against federation president

On October 25th and 26th Lithuania National Senior Championships were held and organized by Lithuania Judo Federation. But there were only 43 judokas competing among all the weight categories.
