Portuguese judoka Wilsa Gomes clinched a bronze medal at the European Cup in Orenburg in 2019. Wilsa represented Cape Verde Judo Federation until March 2017. She took bronze at the European U23 Championship in 2019 in Izhevsk. She bagged a bronze medal at the European Open in Zagreb in 2021.
