Luciano Correa was World Champion in 2007 in Rio de Janeiro. He won world bronze in 2005. He competed at the Olympic Games 2008 and 2012. Correa won the PanAm Games in 2011 and 2015 and PanAm Championships in 2005 and 2009. He collected 10 World Cup victories, including Grand Slam Moscow and Grand Prix Dusseldorf. Brazil unveils medals and mascot for Grand Slam

The Brazilian Judo Confederation (CBJ) revealed the Brasilia Grand Slam medals and the mascot for the newest event on the IJF World Judo Tour. The three-day event in Brasilia, which becomes the second city in the Americas to host an IJF Grand Slam following Rio de Janeiro (2009 – 2012), currently has 414 judoka inscribed from 64 countries and has captured the imagination of the Brazilian public. Strong Olympic candidates show off in Sofia

A few serious candidates two qualify for the Olympic Games won the European Open in Sofia today. Egyptian judoka Ramadan Darwish is in the top 8 U100kg. Last year he lost the final against Michael Korrel, but today he defeated the Dutchman in the semi final and was able to take the gold medal.
