She gave birth to a child and came back and won international tournaments and European Games bronze with Italy. European Open Team Champion in 2010.

Olympic year 2016 starts with OTC in Mittersill

This week the traditional start of the season will take place with the opening of the Olympic Training Centre in Mittersill. The OTC will host about 880 participants from 50 nations of all continents. The Austrian Judo Federation is the proud organizer of the most important and successful training camp in the world. Giulia Quintavalle will be waving the flag on friday at the Opening Ceremony: gold medalist at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games will be the first standard-bearer in the history of judo. The Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) announced the composition of the Italian team for the European Games in Baku June 12 to 28. Italy will be represented by 295 athletes (168 men and 127 women), the protagonists in 23 disciplines. Read more
