After his career Vyacheslav Pereteyko became an IJF Referee and he officiated at the major IJF World tour events. He was born in Tashkent. He won a bronze medal at the 2002 Asian Games in Busan, South Korea. He represented his nation Uzbekistan at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.
