Spanish judoka Mireia Lapuerta Comas won bronze at the Junior European Championships in Sofia in 2018. She was European Champion for cadets in 2016. Mireia was Spanish Junior champion in 2018 and 2016 and won medals since 2014. At senior level she won bronze in 2017. She took bronze at the European Cup in Malaga in 2017. She took bronze at the Junior European Championships in 2019 in Vaantaa. She claimed a silver medal at the European U23 Championships 2019 in Izhevsk.

New judo champions added to history of the Atom Cup in Paks

Seven different nations won the titles at the first day of the European Cup for juniors in the Hungarian city Paks. 388 athletes from 33 nations are gathered for the Atom Cup, an event with a huge history. Eight new champions added to that history. Fabio Basile, Andreea Chitu, Bernadette Graf, Lukas Krpalek, Georgii Zantaraia and many famous Hungarians won here in Paks. Read more

Serbia and Spain surprise with European Cadet title in Finland
