Judoka Iriskhon Kurbanbaeva finished seventh at the Judo Grand Slam Tashkent in 2021. Finished seventh at the 2024 World Championships in Abu Dhabi. She took a bronze medal at the Junior Worlds in Guayaquil in 2022. Bronze medal at the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou, -78kg. Competed at more than ten Grand Slam without a medal yet, Finished fifth at the 2023 Grand Prix in Dushanbe. She did gymnastics as a child and counts Davlat Bobonov and Diyora Keldiyorova as her examples in judo.
