Russian judoka Abrek Naguchev captured the Junior world title in 2021 in Olbia. He won a bronze medal at the European Cadet Championships in 2017 in Kaunas. He took a bronze medal at the Cadet World Championships in Santiago de Chile in 2017. With the Russian he won the Cadet world team title in 2017 in Chile and 2019 in Almaty. He took silver at the Youth Olympic Games in 2018 in Buenos Aires and won bronze at the team event. In 2019 Abrek captured bronze at the Junior European Championships in Porec in 2020. He bagged a silver medal at the Junior European Cup in Coimbra in 2021.
