Czech judoka Martin Bezdek took silver at the Youth Olympic Games in 2018 in Buenos Aires and silver at the Youth Olympic Games team event in 2018. In 2018 he won gold at the Cadet European Cup in Coimbra. He took a silver medal at the Junior European Cup in Berlin in 2019. He took silver at the senior European Cup in Dubrovnik in 2023. He took silver at the European Cup in Celje in 2023.
