In 2019 Hungarian judoka Daniel Szegedi won gold at the Cadet European Cup in Zagreb. He took a bronze medal at the EYOF in Baku in 2019. He captured the gold medal at the European Cup for Cadets in Gyor in 2019. He took bronze at the Junior European Championships in Porec in 2020. He bagged a bronze medal at the Junior European Cup in Banja Luka in Bosnia in 2022. He finished with bronze at the Junior European Cup in Paks in 2022.
