Dutch judoka Neal van de Kamer retires

2013 World Championships participant Neal van de Kamer retired as judoka. This year was a last attempt to reach the Olympic Games. With a fifth place at the European Open Sofia and a loss against his direct opponent Frank de Wit and an excellent match against Avtandili Tchrikishvili at the Grand Slam in Paris, didn’t bring him the necessary points. The target was challenged but not achieved. Read more

French lead the dance at British Open in London

France topped the final medal table of the European Cup in London with a total of 19 medals, including four golds. Great Britain were second with The Netherlands third. Over 300 judoka were in action at K2, Crawley, with 29 countries represented in the two-day long event. Read more

British girls capture two home medals at European Cup London

London 2012 Olympian Kelly Edwards and Nekoda Davis led the way for Great Britain on the opening day of the London British Open European Cup, whilst the French team topped the medal table as the first day came to a close. Over 320 judoka were in action at K2, Crawley, with 29 countries represented in the two-day long event. Read more
