Swedish judo has a revival with good results. Marcus Nyman was fifth at the Olympic Games in 2016. Nyman won the first European title for Sweden in 2010. Judo Svenska has a good judo generation with Martin Pacek, Robin Pacek, Mia Hermansson who all participated at the Olympic Games. In 1986 Elisabeth Karlsson won the only World medal, silver. Marcus Nyman and Martin Pacek both won 2 Grand Slams and 2 IJF Grand Prixs. The Swedish Judo Federation is annually organiser of the European Cup held in Lund, and Borås and Helsingborg in the past. Tommy Macias and Anna Bernholm are the most successful after the 2016 Olympic Games.
