Judo in Greece

The best Greek judoka is Ilias Iliadis. Iliadis became Olympic Champion in Athens in 2004. Coach Nikos Iliadis is head coach of the Hellenic Judo Federation and he created new Greek judoka with Alexios Ntanatsidis who won the world Junior title in 2013 and Tariel Zintiridis in 2006. Georgios Azoidis won three European Junior judo titles. Roman Moustopoulos won the title in 2013 and participated in Rio2016. Ilias Iliadis won two Olympic medals, he won three judo world titles and 6 medals and retired in 2016 after Rio2016. The Greek Judo Federation is the official body.
