Seven time World Champion and the highest paid judoka under professional contact, Teddy Riner will fight at the French National Championships on this weekend. This is first National event for current Olympic, World & European Champion since 2011.

Riner will compete for LSC Levallois, which offered him five-year contract last year in November.

Last weekend Riner's participation at the French Championships was announced by the coach of Levallois, Christian Chaumont. "This will be good for Teddy and allow it to test his recovery during the tournament" - Chaumont concluded.

Fourth participiation for Riner at the senior championships in France, he was defeated only once, in 2007 against Matthieu Bataille. Bataille is now retired, but lot of them will try to bring down Riner, who is undefeated since January 2011. 66 fights he had since 2011, and all won. Last time Riner was defeated in final at the World Championships Tokyo in 2010 against Daiki Kamikawa (JPN) in Open Category.

This will be a good warm-up for Riner's before Golden League, where he will attend with his club.
