World team Champion and Olympic medallist Priscilla Gneto is suspended for the remainder of the year 2014. The French international could not participate at the Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi due to a weight problem. Last weekend though Gneto wasn’t too motivated to fight in her body and mind but on the other hand she wanted to revenge herself at the French Championships which she did taking the title. Gneto at her facebook reacts.

“It is my little moment of euphoria, happiness after my victory in this weekend at the French championships and now the high level of sport catches me. I was even suspended for ALL sporting events, competitions, physical training and judo training, followed by a note of about 1500 euro.”

Gneto will miss the Grand Slam of Tokyo at 5 December. With the competition of Annabelle Euranie, Bonna, perhaps Buchard this may be a blessing in disguise to jump to the category U57kg (with Pavia, Blot and Receveaux).

“No doubt I have sinned because I have not managed to make the weight competition (1st time) for X reasons that have been explained in numerous press articles. But I should have been penalised like the other athletes who have also experienced this difficult time. I think my body says ‘stop’, just after five schemes already in five months."
