JSV Speyer captures the ECC Golden League

At the Golden League in Grozny the women of JSV Speyer have won the gold medal. In the final the German team defeated Vienna Samurai by 4-1. In the semi final Speyer defeated RSC Champigny by 3-2 as Jasmin Kuelbs was on fire and defeated Olympic Champion Audrey Tcheumeo.

In the final Odette Giuffrida (-52 kg), Nadja Bazynski (-63 kg), Szaundra Diedrich (-70 kg) and Jasmin Külbs (+70 kg) signed for the victories, for Samurai, another German, Miryam Roper, won her bout.

After a defeat in the first round, the women of Galatasaray captured bronze after a victory against French team JC Cortaillod. The French team of RSC Champigny that defeated Galatasaray took the second bronze in their bronze match against Shabolovka. 

JSV Speyer won the European Club Championships two years ago in the Netherlands and promoted to the golden league where last year bronze was taken, the first step to today's gold medal in Grozny.
