Judoka Tatyana Simantov from Israel was 2004 and 2005 European junior Champion U48kg. She won the European Cadet title in 2002 and EYOD in 2003. She was seveth at the 2004 World U20 Championships Budapest. At senior level she took silver at the World Cup in Drammen U48kg and competed at the senior World Championships. Tatyana Simantov retired in 2008. She won the Israeli senior title in 2004, 2007 and 2008.
