Italian judoka Augusto Meloni won the European Cup in Bratislava in 2017. In 2016 Augusto won the European Cup in Malaga. He won multiple medals at Italian Championships and was champion twice in 2012 and 2013. He won the European Cup in London in 2012. He captured a bronze medal at the European Open in Oberwart in 2018. Meloni won the European Open in Prague in 2018. He bagged a silver medal at the European Open in Zagreb in 2021.
