Urantsetseg Munkhbat became World Champion 2013 in Rio de Janeiro. In 2017 she became World silver medallist in 2017 in Budapest. Munkhbat won the Asian Games in 2014 in Incheon U48kg. Munkhbat was 7th at the Olympic Games in London U48 and 5th in Rio in 2016. Munkhbat won the IJF World Masters in Rabat in 2015. Munkhbat won the Grand Slam in Paris. After the Games she took bronze at the Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi in 2016. She won the Grand Slam in Tokyo in 2016 and took silver in Paris in 2017.

On Monday the new IJF World Ranking was released with eight new world ranking leaders. Soichi Hashimoto (U73kg) and Sumiya Dorjsuren (U57kg) were number one last week and also won the world title.
